People have been telling me that Thinkopolis, which has Been an audio production, needs to have a video component. The thing is, Thinkopolis episode have an abstract quality — and turning them into mini documentaries destroys that. So I’ve been experimenting with “ambient” video tracks — something interesting to look at but still primarily audio productions. There are technical difficulties. In this episode, for example, you’ll notice some subtle audio distortion. That’s an artifact caused by Final Cut. Probably, the solution is to edit these in Premier and After Effects, but I’m not sure yet. Anyway, just wanted to let you guys know what’s going on behind the scenes — and thanks for following Thinkopolis!
